The short version

FullPT runs on your phone. Your clients, plans, logs and photos stay there. There is no FullPT account, and we have no servers that store client data. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking, and we don't sell data.

Data that stays on your phone

Everything you enter — client profiles, workout and nutrition plans, session logs, measurements and progress photos — is stored in an encrypted database on your device. We cannot see, access or recover any of this data.

What leaves your phone, and why

The app connects to the internet only for the following:

  • Free trial check. When you start the trial, the app sends our server (api.fullpt.com) a random identifier created on your phone, along with the product name. We store that identifier with the trial's start and end dates, so each device gets one trial. It is not linked to your name, email or clients.
  • Purchases. Payment is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to confirm your license; it receives your purchase receipt and the same random identifier. RevenueCat sends us notifications of purchase events, which we store. We never see your payment details.
  • Exercise demos. Exercise images and videos load from our content delivery network (cdn.fullpt.com).
  • Backups, if you turn them on. Backups go to your own iCloud or Google Drive — not to us. Each backup is encrypted with a password you choose. Progress photos are included unless you leave them out. With Google Drive, FullPT asks only for access to its own hidden app folder, not the rest of your Drive.

Our servers are hosted on Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses to deliver requests.

Your clients' data

You decide what client information you record. You are responsible for having your clients' permission to do so and for keeping your phone and backup password secure. Because the data never reaches us, we can't answer your clients' requests to see or delete it — you can do this directly in the app.

Keeping and deleting data

You can erase all data from the app's settings, or delete the app. Delete backups from your iCloud or Google Drive. Trial records on our server hold only the random identifier and dates, and we keep them so a device can't restart its trial.

FullPT is a tool for professional trainers and is not intended for anyone under 16.

If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
